In 1990, under King Birendra, Nepal has become a constitutional monarchy. The High Commission report concluded thatthe Royal Family was slaughtered by Prince Dipendra. However the video has shown how Late Prince Dipendra Shah had spent his time in merrymaking. In the video, the Late Prince Dipendra Shah is seen dancing with the groups. They danced in the song, “Marsyangdi Salala.” The video is related to the history of the country in which the Late Prince Dipendra had danced. It is totally interesting to see Prince Dipendra dancing completely as an ordinary person.
Being brought up as the Royal Family member, Prince Dipendra has forgotten all the limitations and danced in the video. Another song was also sung in the group. Thus the Prince Dipendra had spend the time in merrymaking as well as in celebrating the time. There are few songs in which Dipendra has sung and he seemed to be totally enjoying the time. Thus the video has shown how the Prince Dipendra has presented himself enjoying in the folk songs and typical songs of Nepali Culture.
The video is related to the history of the country. The country was ruled by Shah Dynasty from 1768 to May 2008. Going back to the past, the country can be seen as ruled by many Shah Dynasty. The first Shah King of Gorkha was Dravya Shah. Before the rule of Dravya Shah, Gorkha was ruled by local people. In this case, the country saw the rise of Shah Dynasty. But on 1st June 2001, the number of people in the Royal Family were murdered in the Royal Palace.
